Elected as a Councillor in 2009 for the Saint-Michel district of the Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension borough, Frantz Benjamin is also a Commissioner and Executive Committee member of the Pointe de l'Île school board. Involved in his community, Frantz Benjamin was notably President of the Intercultural Council of Montréal. He is currently a member of the commission sur la culture, le patrimoine et les sports and a member of the commission sur le développement social et la diversité montréalaise.

• Make Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension a green borough throughout its 3 districts
