Mayor of the Montréal-Nord borough since 2009, Gilles Deguire has worked for 30 years as an officer of the Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal before becoming a political attaché for former MNA Line Beauchamp. Gilles Deguire has notably been responsible for Habitation and Social Housing on the executive committee. He is currently a member of the table Paix et sécurité urbaines and a member of the communications committee of the borough.
